Gradam Scoil Digiteach
Bhronn Lorraine O' Donovan an Gradam Scoil Digiteach a fuaireamar toisc an dul chun cinn atá déanta againn i gcúrsaí I.T.. I ngach rang tá 5 ríomhare soghluaiste, clár bán idirgnromhach agus tá úsáid 32 ríomhaire so ghluaiste ar dhá tralaí. Táimid ana bhrodúil as an ngradam seo.

Digital School Award
Lorraine O'Donovan presented a digital school award to us. We were awarded this award in recognition of our use of digital technology through out the school. Each class has 5 laptops, an interachtive white board and the use of 32 laptops on mobile trollies. We're very proud of this award.

Comórtas Leadóg Bhoird
Comhghairdeas do na páistí go léir a ghlac páirt i gcomórtas leadóg bhoird. Bhuadar ana chuid bonn agus an comórtas 'Mixed Doubles' don chéad uair.

Table Tennis Competition
Congratulations to all the children who recently took part in table tennis competitions. They won lots of medals and the mixed doubles competition for the first time ever.

Chuir an scoil ar fad fáilte roimh iardhaltaí leis an gcorn a bhuadar ag imirt le foireann Bheanntraí faoi 21. Bhíomar ana shásta iad a fheiscint agus thugadar ardú meanma d'ár peileadóirí a bheidh ag imirt sula bhfad.

Past pupils return with cup.
Three past pupils returned to the school with the cup they won playing for Bantry U21. We were delighted to welcome them and they gave our footballers, who will soon be taking part in competition, a boost.

Rang Comaoine
Guímid gach ráth ar na páistí i Rang 2 a gheobhaidh a gCéad Chomaoine ar an 26ú Bealtaine.

Communion Class
We wish the children in Rang 2 all the best as they prepare for their First Communion on May 26th.

Lá Spóirt
Bhí lá iontach againn le déanaí ag an Lá Spóirt. Comhghairdeas do na páistí ar fad a ghlac páirt 'is a bhuaigh boinn.

Sports Day
We had a wonderful day at this year's Sports Day. Congratulations to all children who took part and to those who won medals.

Tionscnamh Steps to Engineering
Dhein Rang 5&6 tionscnamh ar an scoil mar chuid de Steps to Engineering. Is é seo an múnla den scoil a dhieneadar. Beidh siad ag dul ar aghaidh go dtí an chraobh sa chomórtas a bheidh ar siúl i mBaile Átha Cliath i Mí an Mheithimh. Go n-éirí go geal leo.

Steps to Engineering Project
Rang 5&6 took part in Steps to Engineering and this is the model of the school that they made as part of the project. They will now be going to Dublin in June to take part in the competition finals. We wish them the very best of luck.

Coiste Glas, Brat Glas eile don scoil
Comhghairdeas don Choiste Glas a fuair Brat Glas eile don scoil. Bhí an coiste ag féachaint ar úsáid uisce sa scoil, ár dtithe agus inár dtimpeallacht. Déanadh iniúchadh sa scoil agus táimid ag feitheamh don torradh. Tá dhá Bhrat Glas ag an scoil cheana féin, ceann amháin do fhuinneamh agus ceann eile do bhruscar agus dramhaíl.

Green Committee, another Green Flag for the school
Congratulations to the Green Committee who were awarded another Green Flag for the school. This year we looked at water usage in the school, our homes and in our community. We were insepcted and are currently awaiting news of our application. The school already has two Green Flags, one for energy and another for waste and litter.

Gairdín na Scoile
Tá páistí tar éis a bplandaí a chur anois. Táimid ag súil leis an samhradh nuair a bheidh torthaí agus glasraí againn.

School Garden
Classes have been busy planting and are looking forward to the summer when we should have plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
